Elizabeth George, Founder

Since 2013, Elizabeth has been helping students achieve their college dreams. She graduated with honors from Duke University and holds a master's in English from Georgetown University, where she also served as a Graduate School administrator, coaching students through competitive fellowship applications and liaising with the Department of Education. A Pittsburgh native, Elizabeth has lived in Turkey, Spain, and Thailand, teaching and counseling students of all backgrounds. In 2018, she founded Ascendant to empower students to pursue higher education and endow them with the skills to thrive.
